SUPPORT COMMUNITY DANCEThursday, April 30 – Friday May 1
6pm – 6pm online Support IndepenDANCE (and other local non-profit organizations) online during Give Big Gallatin Valley's 24 hours of online giving. This year our goal is to raise $2500 to help cover the costs of hosting quality community dance performances. www.givebiggv.org/organizations/independance-community-dance-project GIVE BIG FEST Thursday, April 30 5 – 8pm Ferguson Farms - The Market Visit the IndepenDANCE tent for more information and watch some of our dance groups perform on the stage. IMPORTANT SHOW DATES5/1 - Deadline - Choreographer invitations to dancers
5/10 - Deadline - DANCERS CONFIRM WITH CHOREOGRAPHERS 5/24 - Deadline - Choreographers turn in rosters to IndepenDANCE 6/1 – Open – DANCER REGISTRATION OPENS (Fee of $20) 6/30 – Deadline – DANCER registration CLOSES (late fee ($30) until 7/15) 7/13 - Deadline - Choreographers progress video (30%-50% of choreo) 7/15 - Deadline - FINAL DEADLINE FOR DANCER REGISTRATION (no additions after this date) 8/26 – INDY Rehearsal – STAGING REHEARSAL 8/27 & 28 (27) – INDY Rehearsal – Tech rehearsal (choreographers - slot first come/first serve) 8/28 – INDY Rehearsal – DRESS REHEARSAL (mandatory) 8/29 – SHOW – matinee 2pm (call 1pm); evening 7pm (call 6pm) Choreographers and Dancer - Please watch your emails for registration links, show updates, and rehearsal sign-ups.
