Dancers, dance enthusiasts, and dance curious ages 18+ are invited to join us for the 2025 IndepenDANCE Showcase auditions. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!! The IndepenDANCE community encompasses dancers of all interests, experience, and ages (over 18). |

WHO: Dancers and Aspiring Dancers 18+ years old
WHAT: Auditions for the 2025 IndepenDANCE Show! Auditions feature a warm-up and several different styles of dance led by choreographers in the show. Come try something new! Meet new friends, and have a blast. The show committee does their best to facilitate a match between dancers and choreographies that interest them.
WHEN: Sunday, April 27, 2025
TIME: 11am – 3:30pm

WHEN: Sunday, April 27, 2025
TIME: 11am – 3:30pm
- 11am – REGISTRATION (if you have not pre-registered online)
- 11:30am – CHECK-IN (Check-in and get your number, picture, and find a spot on the floor)
- Noon – WARM-UP/AUDITIONS
- 3:30pm (approx.) wrap up and submit choreography choices before you go!
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Applications are open online and greatly appreciated, Or, you may come early and sign-up at the door.
- Show date: Saturday, September 6 (2pm matinee show | 7pm evening show) *mandatory
- Dress Rehearsal date: Friday, September 5 (in the evening) *mandatory
- Participation in auditions does not guarantee you a spot in the show, although we do our best to place everyone in a piece.
- Accepting a choreographers invitation means that you agree to their rehearsal schedule, costume and studio fees, and in addition to IndepenDANCE participation fees, deadline, and rules. It also means that you agree to represent your piece(s), fellow dancers, and the IndepenDANCE Community Dance Project in the best light possible.
- Bring to Auditions: a water bottle and a light snack, comfortable clothing and layers suitable to dance and exercise, enthusiasm.
- Make sure you arrive with plenty of time to sign-in, get your number, have your photo taken, and find a spot before warm-up begins at noon.
